Every visit to Disneyland is exciting! Even if you have been to other Disney parks in the world (more than once) you still wait for that day like a child. Is it just me?…(:
We have decided to visit Hong Kong Disneyland on the last day of the Halloween parties. We double checked that there are no school holidays in Hong Kong that day, you can check it at this site.
We’ve bought our tickets in advance and with a discount here. However, we planned to arrive at around 9:45 to avoid any queues at the entrance.
We also downloaded the park’s app to our phones a few days before.
You can read all our tips for a successful visit in Hong Kong Disneyland in this post.
Everything is ready- let’s go!

To get to the park the easiest way, in our opinion, is by the MTR. We love the MTR! So organized, fast, clean and easy to use. There is a special line that gets you just to the entrance of the park. In addition, this train decoration is inspired by Disney so you can get into the mood while you’re on your way.
Main street u.S.A
When we entered the park we just had to take some pictures on Main Street USA with all this great Halloween decoration.

Tomorrowland
After that, we went straight ahead to the first ride, Hyperspace Mountain. This is one of the most popular rides in the park, so it is best to get there first. It is an adventurous roller coaster that takes its passengers on a journey accompanied by music in space. This facility is not suitable for small children.
As we were already in Tomorrowland, we checked out the queue in Iron man experience but it was long. Although we could use our FastPass for it, we’ve decided to come back at the end of the day for the grand finale. Instead, we did the Orbitron.

Adventureland
Then, we crossed to Adventureland where we rode the Raft to Tarzan’s Treehouse. We Crossed the River for a walking tour of Tarzan’s Treehouse, where the story of Disney’s Tarzan is brought to life inside a colossal tree.

Grizzly Gulch
At Grizzly Gulch we took some wild west fun photos and then rode the Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars…twice! This ride will take you through a mountain, plummet downhill and around a legendary gold mining town—forward and backward.

Mystic Point
From there we arrived at Mystic Point and to one of the best rides at the park: Mystic Manor. This is a dark ride through a manor with displays coming alive due to an enchanted music box. Great ride for the whole family, usually with low waiting time. We went there twice so we can capture everything. Super fun!

Toy Story Land
We entered the colorful Toy Story Land. Most of the rides are the same as in Disneyland Paris, but even though we enjoyed it. You can find there the Slinky Dog Spin, Toy Story Parachute Drop and RC Racer (which we didn’t ride).

Fantasyland
A few steps from there and we entered the magical world of Fantasyland. Although we have seen it a few times already, “It’s A Small World” is one of our favorite rides.
In Fantasyland, you’ll also find The Many Adventures Of Winnie The Pooh. This is one of the most popular rides in the park, so we used our FastPass for that. This approximate 4-minute experience, filled with colorful sights and classic Disney songs. This was nice indeed, but in our opinion, there are much better attractions in the park.

One of the surprising attraction was Mickey’s PhilharMagic. In this movie, Disney magic and Disney music are combined to give this charming 10-minute, 3D fantasy and adventure movie starring Donald Duck. We LOVED it!

The Iron Man Experience
As promised, at the end of the day we went back to The Iron Man Experience. And indeed, it should not be missed as you take a flight with Iron Man above Hong Kong. After that we had to eat some Iron Man’s Food.

Halloween parade
In Between, we didn’t forget to watch the Halloween parade.

Before closing...

This was a great day! But it wasn’t finished, as from there, we decided to take the MTR to the Temple street market and stroll around. All about that in another post.
